About Jiggy's Journal
Jiggy's Journal is an independent publication launched in February 2025 by jiggyflyjoe. Here, you will find casual humor, thoughtful musings, and the occasional deep dive. From culture, technology, and gaming to personal stories, world commentary, and tales of my feline companions. Stories will come as often as I feel inspired to write, which will ideally be about once every week or two.
Jiggy's Journal originally set up shop on Substack in February 2025 before we knew about that platform's willingness to platform actual Nazis. After moving away from there, we swiftly migrated over to Ghost in March of 2025, which has been a much more pleasant experience, and where we hope to continue publishing for many years!
By subscribing to Jiggy's Journal, you'll get full access to the website, email newsletters about new content when it's available, and a few more exclusives I'm still working on! Your subscription makes this site possible and allows Jiggy's Journal and other content from yours truly to keep going. Thank you!
About the Author
jiggyflyjoe, or just Joe or jiggy if ya fancy, is a tech-obsessed, diabetes-managing, proudly “neurospicy” and introverted creative who swapped the fast pace of Indianapolis for the quieter charm (and occasionally questionable Wi-Fi) of rural Kansas. A former college student of Software Development and Visual Communications, he now embraces life as a tech enthusiast, digital tinkerer, and lifelong learner—always knee-deep in code, web projects, or the latest gaming rabbit hole.
When he's not wrestling with JavaScript, leveling up his coding chops, or obsessing over the latest gaming gear, Joe can be found streaming live on his Twitch channel, where he hosts chill, cozy sessions where good vibes, engaging gameplay, and a welcoming atmosphere take center stage. Whether he's battling bosses or chatting with viewers, his streams are all about connection, comfort, and fun. His cats—Tigger, Rufus, and Cinnamon—often make surprise cameos, ensuring he never gets too focused without a break (or a paw on the keyboard).
Joe also writes Jiggy's Journal, a quirky, heartfelt publication where he shares thoughts on tech, gaming, lifestyle, digital creativity, and personal adventures—sometimes serious, sometimes silly, but always real. Looking ahead, he's focused on leveling up his skills, launching fresh projects, and (hopefully) carving out a career that brings together his love of technology, storytelling, and online community-building.
